What is Thyroid-?

Have you been clinically diagnosed with Hypothyroidism? If so, Thyroid- is for you. Thyroid- is formulated for hypothyroid cases to normalize the thyroid function by addressing the root causes of Hypothyroidism and supporting the Thyroid in general.

A liquid organic drop supplement essential to thyroid function, Thyroid- plays a crucial part in energy production by stimulating the metabolic rate, assisting the body in burning excess fat.  It also promotes the growth of hair and nails and assists with mental processes and speech, while supporting the normal function of the Thyroid gland.

Unlike what is commonly seen in Hyperthyroidism, Hypothyroidism cases have a much lower percentage of removal of the complete thyroid gland. In Hypothyroidism cases, 30 to 50% of patients will have to remove half of the thyroid gland, which leads to the patients no longer being able to produce the thyroid hormone T4. But this doesn’t have to happen to you! Schedule a consult with Dr. Amun to have your case reviewed today!

What is Hypothyroidism?

Hypothyroidism is caused by reduced activity of the thyroid gland. A lack of thyroid hormones can cause some of the bodily functions to slow down, mainly metabolism. Thyroxine deficiencies range from barely detectable to severe, often it is subclinical, and some doctors will monitor the levels.

The most common cause of Hypothyroidism is an autoimmune disorder known as Hashimoto’s thyroiditis  a condition, affecting 5 in every 100 people, in which your thyroid gland doesn’t produce enough of certain crucial hormones.

About five percent of the U.S. population has Hypothyroidism, with many cases being undetected because the blood test used for diagnosis is not part of a standard physical examination.

When testing is performed, most doctors only test for TSH. That alone does not provide enough information about the state of the thyroid in terms of hormone secretion of antibodies.

Some of the symptoms of Hypothyroidism include depression, weight gain or difficulty losing weight, numbness and tingling in the feet and hands, constipation, fatigue, headache, menstrual problems, recurrent infections, swelling, sensitivity to cold, dry skin, dull or thinning hair, thinning of the eyebrows on the lateral tail, and brittle nails. The tongue may also thicken, and the quality of the voice may change.

Support of Thyroid Health

Iodine is an essential mineral that your Thyroid depends on to operate appropriately. It helps your body to deliver the vital hormones that control your metabolism and general well-being.

Prevent Low Iodine

Your body doesn’t naturally produce iodine. You need to get it from your diet, so it’s expected that most people have low iodine levels. Thyroid- supplies the iodine you require daily.

Increase In Energy

Once you have a functioning thyroid and the body receives the required amount of iodine in the Thyroid - it will boost your metabolism and provide more energy
