Dr. Candace White, is a board certified, Primary Care Physician who is passionate about and specializes in Women’s Health, Primary Care, holistic medicine; and disease prevention. White’s doctoral journey began at Florida A&M University where she received a Bachelor’s in Biology Pre-med, with a minor in Chemistry; followed by a Masters of Medical Sciences at Indiana University School of Medicine; and Masters of Public Health and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University College of Medicine. Currently, White is a frontline professional member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), American College of Osteopathic Family Medicine, the National Medical Association (NMA), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), and  American Medical Association (AMA). Her mission is to empower and enlighten patients by improving public health through the integration of education, discovery, and health care to underserved communities.
Dr. White wears many hats and also serves as a medical director of CVS minute clinic for the greater Atlanta region and metro areas, she is an adjunct professor for Emory School of medicine. She was recognized by Essence magazine as an Essential Hero July 2020 and her most recent accomplishment was being recognized as a Top Doctor 2021 practicing in Atlana, GA by Georgia Trend Magazine. She enjoys medical mission work and serving as a mentor to other aspiring physicians. She is a past track athlete who enjoys running, fitness and outdoor activities. She is also a Children’s Book Author and  recently launched her book, “Born into A Pandemic – A Mother’s Precious Gift” in the wake of a global pandemic. The book is a keepsake for mothers especially the expectant mother, children and families. The title gives a glimpse into the life of an expecting mother during these unprecedented times, coupled with health tips, positive affirmations and interactive pages for families to enjoy now and in years to come.
Dr. White believes that the mind, body and spirit are all connected and to achieve balance between the three you must think positively, live moderately and nurture the soul.
